The working year began again with a fantastic visit to Overton Grange School in Sutton Surrey. it is always nice to start my year with a visit to this fab school.
After a short break which included my first England Hockey Technical Officials course, I’m always up for something new. It was back to planetarium work with a visit to One of my lovely regular schools Drayton Junior in Norfolk, and a fab morning was had by all.
After another weekend break for the final Empire LARP os the season, the work began to hit properly with a 3am set off time, to get to Monkton School near Ramsgate , this was followed by my annual trip to the amazing Haberdashers Aske Girls School, a fantastic school with amazing kids. I really love going there.
This coming week is going to be very tough, a 3.30 start on Monday to get to another regular school the amazing Redriff in Rotherhithe , what amazes me about this particular school is the way it is full of the history of the area to show the kids real artifacts from their past, when Rotherhithe was in the heart of the Docks and Wharfs of London. A couple of days off then a NEW school in Whitehaven (Cumbria) followed by a LONG evening drive to Surrey for another regular, Holland in Oxted.
The weekend is also full with Hockey Coaching, Umpiring an Technical officiating!
And that is September!
